Steps for enrolling in VA Health Care:

1. PREPARATION: Collect the following information if available:

• discharge papers (i.e. DD214)
• most recent tax return
• SSN for you and dependents
• current insurance program information
• your VA Disability Rating Decision (if applicable)

2. APPLY:

3. REVIEW AND DECISION: Call (877) 222-8387 (press 2) if you haven’t heard back from VA in more than a week from applying.
